An 8/1 defeat at the hands of Basildon Hospital meant that Basildon 'D' are certain to occupy one of the relegation places in Division 2 at the end of the season.  Once again, Chudi Ukpaka took the honours for the Medics with 2 singles and 2 doubles wins.  He was ably supported by team mates Clive Beauchamp and Errol Anderson.  Indeed it was only a 12/10 final set win for veteran Dave Kirston over Errol that prevented a clean sweep on the night for the home side.  That being said, 3 of the other games went to the final end but all were decided in the Hospital's favour, with Jenne Seibolt, playing up a division, particularly unfortunate to come out on the wrong side of a tight 5th set against Clive Beauchamp.
