This was a very close match, not decided until Basildon 'D' edged the final doubles to earn a 6/4 victory on their visit to Canvey.  It couldn't have been closer, Andy Roff and Richard Riebold just getting the better of Jo Hills and Lee Mcgonagle by a score of 9/11, 13/11, 9/11, 11/8, 10/12.  In the singles, there was fine hat-trick from Jenne Seibolt backed up by a win apiece for Andy and Richard.  For the home side, there was a double each for Tony Westwell and Lee.  No success on the night for Jo.
