A close match, in which Stephen Chooi recorded his first maximum of the season to help Wickford Community to a share of the spoils against Canvey.  Kevin Wollen also chipped in with a point and he and Conrad Gomes then teamed up to take the doubles and secure the draw. For Canvey, there were 2 wins apiece for Tony Westwell and Jo Hills and a single win for skipper Lee McGonagle.
