Match Report
Not the best night for Canvey with only Tony Westwell and Lee McGonagle wining a singles each and combining at the end for the last doubles. They remain comfortably in mid table however. In contrast, this was a fine win for Stanford 'D' who remain at the foot of the table, but only 5 points now separate the bottom 3 sides and the battle to avoid relegation looks certain to go to the wire. Tony Papa led the way for Stanford, winning his 2 singles. He was well supported by Mark Farley and Max Russell who each won a singles.
