A comfortable win for Canvey over Basildon 'D', and a result that leaves Basildon just outside the relegation places but only by one point.  Neil Billingham provided the only resistance for them on the night with a singles win and a doubles win with Satwant Gill.  Terry Giddens and Jo Hills won both their singles for the home side.
