Palgrave Tornadoes 7 v Shotguns A 3

Last years top two met in an early season encounter, with Palgrave coming out on top in what was a match full of some top play from all players.

Chris Jones was the Player Of The Match winning all 3 of his singles matches. He didn't have it all his own way though, only just getting the better of Lewis Taylor 11-8 in the fifth, winning the last 5 points in a row to take the game.

Lewis, combined with James Skilleter and Mark Durham all picked up two wins a piece for the home team by beating Tim Simms-Baalham and Stuart Langridge respectively. Stuart was unlucky not to come away with something against Skilleter in what was a very topsy turvy game.

Tim was also unfortunate to not take away at least 1 win from the evening as he played well in all 3 matches.

Lewis and James then wrapped up a good doubles with against Chris and Stuart in 4 legs.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening with some great Table Tennis on show.
