The Eastern Valley Closed Junior Tournament was completed this week. There were 8 entries split into 2 groups of 4 with the top 2 in each group progressing to the semi-final.

The qualifiers to the semi-finals were as anticipated, however, in the group matches there was a notable win for Sam Slatter from Division Two over Callum Hunt of Division One.

In the Semi-finals there were wins for number one seed Mathew Pearce over Ben Pearce 11-5, 11-3, 10-12, 11-9, and Ben Allen beat Bethany Brewer 11-4,11-8,6-11,11-8.

As anticipated the Final was an exciting affair which went to 5 sets with Ben Allen winning 11-5, 11-9, 10-12, 11-13, 11-7 and thus avenging his defeat in the final two seasons ago.
