The rearranged Eastern Valley Table Tennis League 2016_17 Finals Night was held at the Cwmbran Stadium on the 3rd Oct. 2017.

Before we could get to the finals there were a couple of semi-final to sort out in the Doubles and Handicapped singles.

In the Doubles semis there were wins for Tony Collins and Andrew Ryder over Jon and Ben Allen (3-0) and Mark Farrow and David D Lloyd over Mark Edmunds and Nigel Gore (3-0).

In the Handicap Singles semis there were wins for Andrew Ryder over Peter Gordon (Scr) by 3-0 and Mark Edmunds(+1) over Mark Farrow by 3-0.

The first of the finals was for the Division One title which was won by Mark Farrow over David D Lloyd 11-6; 12-10; 11-7.

The Handicap Singles Final was won by Andrew Ryder(+1) over Mark Edmunds 12-10; 11-6; 8-11; 11-7.

The final of the Doubles was a match that swung both ways but was eventually won by the pairing of Mark Farrow and David D Lloyd over Tony Collins and Andrew Ryder 11-5; 6-11; 11-5; 6-11; 11-5.

The final match of the night was to decide the Veterans title and saw another exciting match which saw Mark Farrow come from 2 sets to 1 down to beat Tony Collins 8-11; 11-4; 5-11; 11-8; 11-9.
