Division One of the Eastern Valley Table Tennis League continues to be lead by Cwmbran Aztecs following  their latest 23-11 win over Cwmbran Tigers. Player of the match was the Aztecs' Tony Collins with three wins and he was well supported by Mark Edmunds and Andrew Ryder with two wins each. For the Tigers it was only Jeraze Dhanbhoora who could provide any opposition with his two wins.

Cwmbran Blues continue to occupy second place following their competive match against Blaenavon Aces which they won 21-16. The Blues' David D Lloyd picked up the player of the match award but only after a tight five set win over Ben Allen. Lloyd was well supported by Mark Farrow with two wins. For the Aces, Allen secured two wins. 

The final match of the division saw Cwmbran Nomads beat Cwmbran Colts 21-12. The Nomads' Mike Bishop picked up the player of the match award with his three wins and he was well supported by Peter Gordon and Geoff Strangeway with two wins each. For the Colts the Pearce brothers Mathew and Ben picked up a win each.

With North Gwent Cougars having a bye week Cwmbran Eccentrics took the opportunity to extend their leadership of Division Two with a 23-10 win over Cwmbran Lions. John Thomas continued his unbeaten start to the season by picking up the player of the match with his three wins and he was well supported by his Lions teammates Ian Shipley and Lincoln Alford with their two wins. For the Lions Mike Blatchford and Haydn Skinner collected  a win each.

Cwmbran  Fellows just hold on to third place despite their loss to Cwmbran Dynamos 13-18. For the Dynamos Will Smith-Haddon had two wins and guest players Sam Slatter and Dan Tagean picked up two wins and one win respectively. The Dynamos had the consolation of providing the player of the match in Wayne Ford who picked up three wins including a titanic five set match with Sam Slatter.

The final match saw the return to league table tennis, after a few seasons absence, of Star Limbu and he helped his Cwmbran Panthers side to a 21-10 win over Cwmbran Devils. The Panthers' Howard Gaut was the player of the match with three wins and was well supported by Limbu with his two wins. For the Devils, Stan Williams picked up two wins.
