Unfortunately, Cwmbran Colts have decided to drop out of Division One of the Eastern Valley League. As a consequence all their previous results have been expunged from the league and the tables and averages have been adjusted accordingly. This also means that two teams will have byes every week.

This week saw Cwmbran Blues  move into first place in Division One following their narrow 17-15 win over YMCA Preachers. For the Blues both David Lloyd and Mark Farrow registered two wins each and John Thomas had a very good win over Claire Flannagan. Despite losing the match the Preachers did provide the player of the match in their guest player Tony Collins who won his three matches.

The other match in division one saw a mammoth tussle between Cwmbran Tigers and Cardiff Nomads which the Tigers won 23-19. Six of the games went to five sets and the others were settled in four sets. The Tigers players, Jeraze Dhanbhoora, Michal Luckanic and Roshan Rai all registered two wins each. However, it was the Nomads who provided the player of the match in Jack Fletcher, also with two wins. 

In Division Two, North Gwent Cougars moved to within four points of the leaders Cwmbran Eccentrics, who had a bye this week, following their 22-14 win over Cwmbran Panthers. Player of the match was the Cougars' Goran Karabar with his three wins and he was well supported by Sam Slatter who also had three wins. For the Panthers both Howard Gaut and Yuri Cherkasenko picked up a win each.

Moving into third place are Cwmbran Dynamos following their 22-8 win over Cwmbran Devils. The Dynamos provided the player of the match in Alex Jones with his maximum wins and he was well supported by Will Smith-Haddon and guest player Lincoln Alford with their two wins each. For the Devils only Colin Scott could provide any resistance in picking up two wins.

The final match saw Cwmbran Lions just edge out Cwmbran Fellows 18-15. Despite their defeat the Fellows did provide the player of the match in Wayne Ford who just managed to hold on to his unbeaten record this season. He had to scrap for every point, particularly in the matches against Haydn Skinner, which he won in five sets and a very tight game against Mike Blatchford which could have gone either way. The Fellows' Peter Teichner picked up two good wins. For the Lions Blatchford picked up two wins with Skinner and John Williams picking up a win each.
