Premier Division
Runners up in this division last season Hang Em High are leading by three points and have a game in hand and are determined not to let go of the top spot. This week they defeated Ping Panthers 7-3 It was two wins for Michael Bridger, one for Andrew Sharland but star of the night was John Strang the most junior player in this division with the only treble including the scalp of the leagues singles champion Marc Burman. Michael Bridger and Andrew Sharland took the doubles. For Ping Panthers it was two wins for Marc Burman and one win for Sam Clarke.
League Champions Haywards Heath Assassins came through with a 7-3 win over Dynamos. It was trebles apiece for Keigo Burnham and Ben Worley. This pair also defeated Dynamos Matthew Caddy and Dennis Hayden in the doubles. For Dynamos it was one each for Richard Cosens, Matthew Caddy and Dennis Hayden.
A good 8-2 win for St Andrews over Game Changers (who had to play a player short) keeps them in spot four. Three wins for Michael Robinson, (including a walkover) a win and a walkover for both Terry Dean and Charlie Usher with Michael and Terry winning the doubles over Game Changers Jim Skinner and Mike Day.
Division One
Lindfield Thunderbolts move back into the top spot with a 10-0 over Burning Rubber. Trebles all around for David Metcalfe, Jim Griffin and Jeff Triggs with Jim and Jeff also winning the doubles.
Spin Masters lost the top spot by dropping a point in their 6-4 win over Happy Days. For Spin Masters it was a treble for Riccardo Bagaini plus two for Tommy Worley who also paired up to win the doubles over Cathy Seiderer and Bob Watson. For Happy Days it was two for Bob Watson and one each for Phil Harvey and Cathy Seiderer.
For One Hit Wonders it was a first maximum points win as they defeated Magiks 9-1. Trebles for Robert Hoare and Frank Hanley plus two for Alanna Blain. Robert Hoare and Frank Hanley defeated Kevin Deacon and Mel Sims in the doubles. Magiks Mel Sims was the only winner for his team.
Division Two
Pingwins continue their march towards division one status with a 9-1 win against Swifts with trebles for Rupert Browning and Dan Polhill plus two for Oliver Cattermole with Rupert and David taking the doubles over Claudia Hough and Chloe Robinson. Claudia Hough was the lone winner for Swifts.
An 8-2 win for Dangermen was the result of their match with New Avengers. Three for Tony Pells and two each for Colin Cooper and Ron Bailham with Ron and Tony winning the doubles For New Avengers it was one each for Collin Cooper and Ron Bailham.
