MATCH REPORT - WEEK 2 - OCTOBER 14TH 2020

Premier Division

TT Legends take a move to top of premier with a 9-0 win over Crawley Knights , fine trebles for Brandon Bennett, Stuart Vincent and Andy Walker. Opposition players Crawley Knights Josef Krakovsky, Peter Cracknell and  Mina Matta had little answer to the opposition’s strength.

In second spot are Horsham Spinners defeated Divergents 5-4 in a close match. For Spinners, three wins for Rory Scott and one apiece for Tony Rowell and Graham Beaney . For Divergents Sally Hughes won two including a five set match against Jim Skinner, Michael Robinson also won two, both going down to Rory Scott.

HH Assassins had a 6-3 win over Dynamos. It was three wins apiece for Kiego Burnham and Ben Worley, for Dynamos one each for Richard Cosens, Richard Caddy and Dennis Hayden.   

Again a close match was between Ping Panthers and Hang Em High. Panthers coming out 5-4 winners. Marc Burman with a treble and Ed Harvey with two. For Hang  Em  High it was two for Andrew Sharland and Michael Bridger

 

Division One

It was an 8-1 victory for Pingwins over Blade Runners David Polhill and Brett Holt with trebles and Dan Polhill with two. For Blade Runners Peter Vincent was the star winning the one.

Thunderbolts came Away 8-1 winners over Spinderella’s  With David Metcalfe and Andy Steel with three and Robert Watson with two. For Spinderella’s surprise of the evening was a thrilling game between Jan Watkins and Thunderbolts number one Robert Watson with Jan winning 14-12 in the fifth set.

Result between King Pongs and New Avengers was 5-4 to King Pongs. It was two for Darius Mayhew two for Onkare Singh and a very important one for Holly Cole. For new Avengers  three for Luke Goff, one for Robert Goff.

Spin Masters had good 5.4 win over X Men. Three for John Bridger and two for Phil Tash. For X Men two for Peter Caddy and one each for Peter Dunsby and Tom Christophersen.
