Partnered with Darius Knight in the Mixed Doubles and Joanna Parker in the Women's Doubles all was plain sailing, in the Women's Doubles they only dropped the one end and that one went to to the precocious talents of Tin Tin Ho and Maria Tsaptsinos. In the Mixed Doubles it was again only one end dropped, a deuce, playing Matt Ware and Karina Le Fevre.

On my oh my - it would have been excellent if the Women's singles had gone the same way, Saturday was fine but in the Quarter Finals where Kelly met Tin Tin Ho she quickly found herself 2 games down but found the right tactics to reel off 4 games in a row to win 4-2

Next the Semi Final, 3 games to the good and 11-10 ahead all was fine, not so a little later, as the match stood at 5-9 to Karina Le Fevre in the seventh and final game. Kelly buckled down, cut out any errors, to pull that back to 10-9 and was taken to 14-12 to finish it off.

If she hadent played enough games in the day the Final was another titanic struggle, Kelly moved in to a 2-0 lead, had a good chance to take the third but it slipped away on Deuce, Kelly won the fourth game to to go 3-1 ahead but Joanna Parker was not for giving up, she took the 5th and 6th games to level the match but in the 7th game Kelly got off to a good start, Jo's much improved surprise attack started to go off instead of on and Kelly claimed the Women's Singles Title for a second consecutive year

Kelly's comment on twitter sums up the exertions of the day "My body is in a lot of pain today and is aching all over...but it's worth it in the end :)" - Very well done Kelly
