The Division Two Singles event was played 7 April also at Tarka with 7 entrants playing one round robin event two legs to 11 so six matches / 12 games played.

Rob Gale, Mike Bellew, David Stone, Barry spearman, Jeremy Rickman, Mike Hill & David Gray played in great spirits.

The two David's showed from the off their skills & consistencies and both were proving too good for their opponents.

Mike Bellew commented that he has beaten most people at one time or other in the second but never managed a win over David Gray. He then stepped up to the table and almost did with a fine display of table tennis to take the first leg 11-5. David had to dig in and persevere to take the second 11-9 - a close call. 

It would prove to be the only dropped leg for David and he took the overall title with a superb 11 wins from 12 games.

David Stone with his 4 wins, one draw and a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Gray was a worthy runner up with 9 from 12.

Rob Gale ended on 7, the two Mikes took 5 a piece, Barry 3 and 2 from Jeremy.

There was a great atmosphere throughout and the styles and standard of play was a delight to watch.
