Shrewsbury Midlands Veterans 2023-24
One Shrewsbury Veterans team is currently competing in the MIdland League.
In a very competitive Division 2 a 3rd place finish in the 2023 / 24 season, with the team being unbeaten was a great performance.
Congratulations go to Nev Lacey who finished joint top of the averages (P15 / W12).
Congratulations also go to Mike Dudley who finished high in the averages. (P12 / W9),
Are you interested in giving the Midland League a try and representing the Shrewsbury & D T.T.A ??
The Midland League is not just for Premiere League players. There are a number of different Divisions which you can compete in.
It involves one game a month on either a Saturday or Sunday from October to April each year.
You will need a squad of 5 - 6 players who are keen to play and willing to travel within the Midlands to away games. A Team Captain will also be needed to communicate and agree match dates with the opposition.
The Shrewsbury & D T.T.A will pay registration fees and reasonable home venue costs. It is also customary that light refreshments are provided to the opposition after HOME matches.
