We have entered a Cub record nine teams in the Colchester League this Season!

Tollgate I is the 9th team to represent the Club featuring no fewer than 7 of our youngsters to have come through the Club under Coach Rik James auspices. On top of this we have added 4 Gilberd members following Roger Springett's retirement and the demise of their old club. They will become the G teamin Div 2 with their Essex ranked number 7 Junior, Olly Fifield joining the E team in Division One where we have a further 6 U'18 players playing across the E & F teams. This gives us a total of 18 youngsters playing League Table Tennis this season.

In the Premier Division the A team have lost 'defector' Andy Warner but have strengthened with the signings of former Chelmsford Men's Champion Alex Abbott & Wayne Shaw ex-Ipswich Men's Champion!

Jan Fuller is a new inclusion in the D team now captained by Neil Freeman in Division One, making three teams in both of the top 2 Divisions!

In Division Three we welcome Mike Baldwin out of retirement & debutant Nigel Hutchinson along with Chris Edwards from Clacton.

With the acquisition of 2 new tables & 10 more Cornilleau Barriers and over 30 Juniors attending regular coaching sessions the Club is in a very healthy state
