The Warwickshire Cadet team started their campaign in Cadet Division 1B at Phoenix on Saturday December 8th

The team of Timmy Cooper, George Allison, Lee Dorning, Emma Kilpatrick and Milly Bradshaw began with a relatively comfortable win over Worcestershire. All matches were won 3-0 including the one defeat, Emma Kilpatrick going down by the same margin to Holly Bilsborrow .

The second match was a bit harder especially for the girls, Only Emma Kilpatrick's win over Vicky Coll going Warwickshire's way, the boys however continued as before winning all 6 of their matches to give Warwickshire a 7-3 win.

Between these two matches Oxfordshire defeated Worcestershire by 7 matches to 3.

The other 4 teams began their 2012/13 competition the previous Saturday 1st December at BATTS Harlow and there too 2 sides were undefeated, Essex and Norfolk disposing of both Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. It is likely therefore that the matches between these three teams on Saturday 16th March 2013 at BATTS Harlow will decide this year's competition
