Popular street table tennis project Ping! has been nominated to receive a grant from the National Lottery Good Causes pot, but it needs your help!
The National Lottery Good Causes programme was set-up in 1994 and since then over £30 billion has been raised, funding over 400,000 projects in that time.
Ping!, which has been confirmed for 2013, is in line to receive some extra funding from this grand project.
Described as ‘an ambitious programme which combines arts, sports and wild imagination’, Ping! has helped to boost the sport’s profile and popularity in locations ranging from Liverpool to Leicester and Brighton to Bristol.
In 2012 Ping! saw over 350,000 people take part with the programme succeeding in promoting community participation with people of all ages and backgrounds getting involved.
