Warwickshire Juniors gained 1 win and 1 draw and two close defeats at 6-4 in the second days play at the St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre in WarwickWarwickshire
The team comprised Sam Cafearo, Jack Green, Ricardo Bolanos and Lewis Singleton, Lisa Rinnhofer and Livvy Fletcher. Lisa was a tower of strength winning 7 from 7 matches, Livvy Fletcher was not far behind with 5 from 7 matches
The boys found it harder, against Cambridgeshire the Girls accumulated 3 and Jack Green had an excellent win over Lewis Roper-Gibbs in the 4-6 defeat. In the other 6-4 defeat to Norfolk, the Girls cotributed all 4 of the Warwickshire points, 2 by default as Norfolk had only 1 girl.
The draw was against Cheshire 1 where the girls contributed 3 and wins for jack Green and Ricardo Bolanos over James Courtney gave the 5 Warwickshire points.
So to the final match against bottom of the tables Northants, 4 again from the girls added to 1 from Sam Cafearo and a brace from Ricardo Bolanos gave Warwickshire the 7-3 win which gained 6th place in the division of 8 teams
Staffordshire and Northants were the demotion candidates in 7th and 8th and at the top Nottingham put in a 4 wins from 4 performance to top the division by 1 point over Yourksire
