Week 16 Report

The Results for week 16 matches are now in:

In the Premier Division, Akash Shah scored 3 good wins for Post Office but finished on the losing side against Aardvarks, while Cougars put up a good fight to share the points with leaders Bats, for whom Kiran Chidambaram remains unbeaten this season. Piotr Borkowski was unbeaten as 2-man Solaris 'A' drew with Abbots Langley.

In Div 1, Jonathan Jackson won all 3 singles as leaders Watling 'A' took top spot with a 6-2 win over Gazelles. A welcome appearance by Sally Bax resulted in 2 singles wins and Ishan Bairoliya won all 3 singles as Dolphins overcame Watling 'C'. James Dance again won 3 singles, and his father, Steve, made his Watford league debut to help Hounds overcame Falcons. Ian Banfield won all 3 singles as Watling 'B' took a surprise win against Eagles, as the battle at the top of the table takes another twist.
 
In Div 2, Jacob Smith racked up 3 more wins for Kangaroos, in a match that finished all-square against Jaguars, while Peter Denholm's fine form continues as Iguanas extend their lead at the top of the table.

In Div 3, the top of the table clash resulted in a 7-1 win for Newts, opening up a 4-point lead at the top of the table with youngsters Chris Day and Lewis Slade both being unbeaten. A strong Watling 'D' team secured maximum points against Panthers.
