Wickford Cricket Club maintained their position at the top of Division 2 following a hard fought 6/4 win over Canvey.  It was a good, team performance from the league leaders with 2 wins each for Dave Norris, Rick Gill and Brian Ward.  For the away side, there were 2 wins for Peter Cray and 1 for Jo Hills with Jo's win coming when she fought back from 2 sets down to overcome Dave Norris 4/11, 7/11, 14/12, 12/10, 11/9.  Peter and Jo also teamed up to take the doubles at the end.
