This was an important win for Basildon 'D' over Stanford 'D' and temporarily puts them 10 points clear of the bottom two teams in Division 2, although they have played a game more.  Maximums from Satwant Gill and Richard Riebold were backed up by 2 wins from Jenne Seibolt.  For Stanford there was a singles win for Mark Farley over Jenne, a game in which he came back to win after the loss of the first 2 sets.  However the roles were reversed in another game where Mark led Satwant by 2 sets to nil before eventually losing in the 5th set.  Stanford took the final doubles.
