A welcome and important 2nd win of the season for bottom side Luton 4 against the team two places above them in the table, Chatham Dorset, who were missing their star man Charlie Cook. Luton have lost a few close 5 leggers in recent games but won all 3 in this match which made the crucial difference as they were led to a 7-3 victory by a Keith Ball treble. He was well supported by a brace for Mick Barber and a single win for Brian Peaper who beat the playing up Lin Yun Guo. Special mention to Dorset's Zhong Jiao Tan who got her first win of the season in this match. Teammate julian Barker played well for his double, just losing out to Ball 11-9 in the decider.
