Cliffe Woods are on a good run and have moved up to 4th in Div 1 following this week's 9-1 thrashing of two man Anchs 4. Trevor Mortley beat son Peter for the Player of the Match award for the first time this season as they both went unbeaten. Dick Ellis, as last week, got Anchs consolation when he beat Andy Larner. Anchs have lost their last 6 matches and are slipping towards the relegation places although still have a 10 point cushion.
