Howard 3 are firm favourites for 2nd spot in Div 1 following their 15th win of the season against Anchs 4. They ran out convincing 8-2 victors with only Alex Clarke and Roger Morley dropping games to Dick Ellis and Mark Enticknap respectively, both over 5 legs. John Kane grabbed his 12th maximum of the season and 8th Player of the Match Award. Greg Sammy didn't get on the scoresheet but did give Kane a scare coming back from 2 legs down only to lose the deciding leg.
