The last thing you want to do when you play the league leaders is to have less than three players but Upnor C could only field Dave West and Colin Hutchins against Howard 5.  Dave got a very creditable win against Phil Marchant but Michael Leonard and Andy Marchant won both their games and Howard took the doubles in five to gain a victory that was always on the cards when the opposition only have two.
