CHATHAM  GANNET  8  UPNOR  D  2

Having won 1 game all season Izaak Griffiths-Betchoo suddenly and unexpectedly blossomed forth and got a hat-trick against Upnor D which included the highly prized "scalp" of Kathy Hall in addition to those of Peter Edwards and Mick Nicholls.  Izaak was backed up by Roger Chipperfield and Jacob Goodchild who both got braces, both losing to Kathy.  For good measure Izaak was then chosen to play with Jacob in the doubles and they saw off Kathy and Peter in three close sets.  Gannet are 11th with Upnor remaining bottom.
