Howard III may be new to Medway, but they showed their strength this week with a comprehensive win against CTTC Hector. Luqman Abolaji and Neville Forsyth were unbeaten in singles and doubles, while a battling Oliver East followed a 13-11 fifth leg loss against Neville with a 15-13 fifth leg triumph against Sam Mustapha for the visitors' consolation point. John Allen and Simon Fever saw their not inconsiderable efforts go unrewarded.
