Upnor continue their good start to the season with a 10.0 whitewash of Howard 2, although the scoreline somewhat flatters them. Four games went to the fifth, two really tight, with Roger Morley  on the receiving end on all of his matches. Peter Worthington winning 11,9 in the decider, Shane Jarret just edging it 11,8 and a rejuvinated Nick Boden 15,13 at the death, saving three match points in the process. Alex Clarke and Robert Jarazoynski could only manage one leg between them.  Alex and Roger teamed up in the doubles and looked like they would halt the whitewash going two legs up, but Shane and Nick had other ideas, winning the last three legs, 11,8, 11,6, 11,5 to complete the drubbing
