In the first division Police A remain second despite a narrow 16-17 loss to Trinity A. No one player dominated this encounter Mark Pugh beat John Chan in three straight games but lost by the same score to Stuart Dearden who in turn was beaten in a five-game thriller by Brian Cooke. Brian was then no match for John ChanRoger Lee beat Eddie Chan but a four-game win in the doubles for Trinity A secured their victory.

In a game brought forward from January Trinity A eased past Rhyl B 27-9. Abhishek Bathula won his matches dropping one game to John Hughes and Stuart Dearden also won his singles but was taken to a fifth game decider by John HughesEddie Chan beat both Barrie Russ and Fred More over four games.

Craig-y-don A secured their first victory in the topflight at the expense of Henllan ATom Bird starred winning each of his singles in four-game matches. Tom teamed up with Ross Lander to beat Melvyn Booker and Jonny Hughes in three straight games in the doubles. Ross Lander lost to both Jonny Hughes and Sean Lucas in five-game thrillers. With one game to play the tie was all square at eighteen all. An inspired Ady Waugh hit fantastic forehands and backhands to blow away Sean Lucasand win the match for Craig-y-don A 21-18.

In the second division, Amlwch B is on course to win the division, this week winning won the island derby 27-3. Maximums here for both Reg John and Andrew Lloyd. The three points for Anlwch C were secured by Emyr Owen he beat Ben Sutcliffe 3-0.

Police B lie in second spot following a 21-16 win over third placed Trinity BKevin Evans and Stan Wan each won their singles. Kevin dropped one game to Alan Hopper while Stan dropped one game to both Alan Hopper and John Lovegroveand was taken to a fifth game decider by Rob Stewart. The doubles another five-game classic, witnessed Kevin Evans and Stan Wan come back from two games down.

Henllan C beat Y Morfa B 19-15. Josh Parry won his singles but had an almighty tussle to overcome Steven Davies in a five-game thriller. Steve Davies beat substitute Iain MacGillivray 16-14 in the final game of tight four-game encounter. Arguably the performance of the night was Maria Laffey playing with her non-playing hand in plaster, beat Mike Trbojevic over four games.

Additionally, a previously reported as 18-15 victory by Amlwch C Over Craig-y-don B has now been corrected to 21-12 the doubles was entered 3-0 to Craig-y-don B when in fact Amlwch C won the doubles 3-0
