A maximum here for Eliot PlattGlen Phoenix dropped a game to Ben Sutcliffe and came from two down to beat Emyr Owen. Emyr also took one game from David Daniels, the only one Dave he lost on the evening. Henllan Afielded their long-standing stalwarts together for the first time this season and it was rewarded with their first victory over third placed Trinity AMelvyn BookerPaul Hulme and Sean Lucas were all competitive in one game against John Chan but could not prevent his maximum. The only game that was not settled in three games witnessed Paul Hulme beat Eddie Chan over five games to secure a 18-14 win. Police A is in fourth place after a 24-12 win over LlandudnoBrian Cooke dropped just one game, against Andy Lunt and he teamed up with Roger Lee to land the doubles in three straight games. Andy Lunt beat Roger Lee in three and James Wan over four games. The closest encounter witnessed Steve Nicholls overcome James Wan in a five-game thriller.

Rhyl B extended their lead at the top of the second division winning the derby 30-5. Steve Lowe, representing Rhyl C narrowly lost 12-10 to Fred Moore in a fifth game decider and took a game from both Chris Markey and John Hughes. The fifth game secured by Rhyl C was in the doubles where Steve Lowe and Andy Chambers put up a tough fight against John Hughes and Chris MarkeyCraig-y-don A have further consolidated second spot beating fifth placed Police B 25-11. Ady Waugh proved to be the standout player beating Peter Roberts 12-10 in the fifth and dropping only one game to Stan WanGed Haresnape and Tom Bird both beat Stan Wan and Nigel McLaughlin. The doubles went to a fifth game decider with Ady and Tom prevailing over Peter and Stan. Third placed Trinity Bbeat fourth placed Henllan B 22-16. Elliot Goddard won all his singles beating Iain MacGillivray in five and John Lovegrove and Chris Watkins over four games. Robert Stewart and Chris Watkins both won two and Chris came out on top in their match in four games. The closest game witnessed Chris and Iain land the doubles 12-10 in the fifth for Henllan BY Morfa B produced a fine 20-13 win against Craig-y-don B. No one player dominated but Steve Davies and David Meadows each won two and teamed up in the doubles to win in three straight games. The closest game witnessed Steve Davies beat Dave Strange in four with each of the games producing a 11-9 score.
