In the Handicap Cup final Rhyl B were given the task of restricting Trinity B to a 36-point average per game. Rob Stewart lost narrowly to Fred Hughes 39-40, but in the other singles encounters Trinity B only averaged 20 points. The doubles witnessed Trinity B achieving 30 points. Chris Markey representing Rhyl B was able complete his maximum and Jon Hughes and Fred Moore both won the two singles battles that they played. The final was decided with two unplayed rubbers, with a final score of 477 to 382 in favour of Rhyl B.

In the Presedent’s Trophy final Police A were given the task of restricting Henllan A to a 34-point average per game. Brian Cooke played well to beat Paul Hulme to 27 and Jonny Hughes to 26. However, Melvyn Booker representing Henllan A beat James Wan and Roger Lee to 22 and 32 points respectively. Paul Hulme also restricted James to 32 points. Paul and Melvyn teamed up and played Henllan’s best doubles of the season to see off Brian and Roger to 29 points. Jonny Hughes is the most improved Henllan player and arguably their best handicapped. He cumulated a fine end to his first season in the top-flight by beating both Roger Lee to 39 and James Wan to 36, this helped to secure a 461 to 381 victory for Henllan A with a game to spare

In the First Division Cup final Paul Collins won all his singles games but was taken to a fifth game decider by Eliot Platt before winning 12-10 in the fifth. Eliot also lost out in another five-game thriller, 11-13 to Keith WilliamsBarrie Russ also put a spirited display losing narrowly 8-11 in the fifth to Ian Ault. In a final with five matches stretching over five games William Panes representing Rhyl A overcame Keith Williams having lost the first two games. The doubles also decided over five-game witnessed Rhyl A prevail for the third time this season at the expense of Amlwch AEliot Platt beat Ian Ault over four games, but Amlwch A secured the league and cup double by winning the cup final 7-3. 

In the Second Division League Cup semi-final Rhyl B gained revenge for their recent league loss to Craig-y-don A. Junior Tom Bird put up the most resistance he beat both Steve Lowe 12-10 and Chris Markey 15-13 in tremendous five-game thrillersHe then went on to beat average topping John Hughes over four games. However, in a fine team display John Hughes won two and Chris Markey and Ady Waugh won an encounter each. Chris and John then teamed up to beat Ross Lander and Tom Bird in the doubles over four close games to draw level in the match 5-5. The winner had to be decided on games won, which was 23-16 in favour of Rhyl B who will now meet Police B in the final.
