In the first division, Police A remain at the top following a 22-13 win at the expense of Trinity A. Stuart Dearden beat both Mark Pugh and Roger Lee in three straight games and was denied a maximum when Brian Cooke extracted one game from him. Ellis Hughes making his Trinity A dand first division debut, took Roger Lee to a fifth game decider before losing out.
Trinity A also played unbeaten second placed Amlwch A going down 14-23. Paul Collins was man of match winning his singles, dropping one game to both John Chan and Stuart Dearden. Paul teamed up with Keith Williams to win the doubles over four games. Stuart played in two further four-game battles beating both Keith Williams and Isaac Gee. The closet encounter in this tie witnessed Keith Williams beating John Chan 11-9 the fifth.
Fourth placed Rhyl A became the first team to beat fifth placed Amlwch B, 23-14. John Hughes and David Daniels won each of their singles matches and landed the doubles in a five-game thriller. In the tightest singles encounter Alfred Mathew lost out to David Daniels 6-11 in the fifth.
In the second division, Craig Y Don A have opened a forty-two-point gap at the top following a 29-9 derby victory over Craig y Don C. The sole victory for the C team was achieved by David Roe who beat Keith Potter 15-13 in a five-game thriller. Keith was involved in another five-game tussle, but this time he prevailed 11-9 in the decider at the expense of David Tyrrell.
Trinity B lie second following a 23-18 victory over Craig-y-Don B, despite Bob Hughes winning all his singles. In the battle for man of the match Bob Hughes beat Robert Stewart 11-9 in a fifth game decider. Telor Jones representing Craig-y-don B lost out in five game matches to both Roy Williams and John Lovegrove.
Y Morfa B have leapfrogged Henllan B into fifth place in the league after a 20-13 win at Henllan. Iain MacGillivray proved the strongest player dropping only one game to Dave Meadows. Peter Barrow won his first game in the league at the expense of Mike Trbojevic. However, it was not enough Dave Meadows and Steve Davies won two singles each and teamed up to land the doubles and the match.
