Another slow week in the top-flight with only three games played, however the current champions Amlwch A are off and running beating previously unbeaten Rhyl A 28-8. David Daniels lost out to Keith Williams in a five-game battle and took a game from Paul Collins before beating Reg John in another four-game match. Rhyl A achieved a further point in the doubles and John Hugheswon one game against Reg John

Trinity A have closed the gap on table topping Police A to nine points following a 22-14 victory over LlandudnoStuart Deardensecured a maximum and Eddie Chan beat Steve Nicholls in a five-game thriller and beat Rob Walker over four games but was beaten in another four-game match by Andy LuntJohn Lovegrove playing up from the B team secured a first division scalp beating Rob Walker in another four-game match. The final score was a 22-14 win for Trinity A.

Amlwch A also beat Y Morfa A 27-10, with Ben Sutcliffe making his debut for the A team. He beat both Chris Henderson and David Meadows; also making his A team debut, in close five-game matches. Ben lost out to former Amlwch player Jason Coe 9-11 in the fifth; Jason being a third player making his A team debut on the night. Keith Williams and Paul Collins both secured maximums and teamed up to land the doubles dropping one game to Jason Coe and Chris Henderson.

In division two, Trinity B moved to the top of the table following a comfortable 29-5 win at the expense of Craig-y-Don C. Andrew Chamberlain secured a maximum and Robert Stewart won his three singles but taken to a fifth game decider by David Tyrell. Dave went one better to beat John Lovegrove in a topsy-turvy five game encounter.

In a good week for the Trinity club, a third win was secured by Trinity C who move up to fourth in the league seeing off Henllan B 24-13. Alan Hopper was the man of the match winning all three of his singles, although Don Grigg had to concede with the battle nicely poised at one-all following two 13-11 encounters. Chris Watkins beat Kate Lai in a five-game thriller and the doubles was even closer with Ellis Hughes and Alan Hopper beating Don Grigg and Iain MacGillivray 12-10 in the decider.

The closest fixture of the week witnessed Y Morfa B beat Amlwch C 19-15. Charlie Hadcock won all his singles for the islanders dropping just the one game to Dave Meadows. The tightest encounter went the way of Y Mora B with Mike Trbojevic beating Arywn Hughes 11-9 in the fifth game.
