In division one Henllan A move up to fifth after a 30-6 win over Y Morfa. Jonny Hughes came back from two sets down to beat Chris Henderson. Jonny was two sets up against Jason Coe but he who fought back winning the next two before Jonny won, the decider. Josh Parry secured the ‘man of the match’ he dropped just one set to Chris Henderson. Mike Trbojevic representing Y Morfa won the opening set against Paul Hulme before losing out 1-3.
In division two Trinity C continue to hold on to top spot, this week they beat bottom of the table Craig-y-Don C 28-7. Eliis Hughes secured a maximum and teamed up with Kevin Hu in the doubles to produce another win in three sets. Kate Lai also representing Trinity C lost out in two epic five-set battles going down 9-11 to Steve Albinson and 11-13 to Bernie Bates in the deciding sets.
Craig-y-Don A beat previously unbeaten Amlwch C 29-7 to close the gap to the Trinity C and they have a match in hand. Dave Foster achieved a maximum with both Ady Waugh and Telor Jones overcoming Emyr Owen in five-set battles. In the doubles Dave Foster and Ady Waugh came from two sets down to prevail over five sets and secure a thirty-point total for Craig-y-Don A.
Police B remain unbeaten following a 22-14 victory over Trinity B and are fourth in the table. Stan Wan also continues his winning streak, he dropped only a set to both Rob Stewart and Andy Chamberlain enroute to winning another three singles matches. Captain Rob Stewart scrambled home in two five-set thrillers 11-9 against Nigel McLaughlan and 17-15 over Peter Roberts.
Henllan B move up to fifth following a 25-12 victory over Craig-y-don B. Iain MacGillivray dropped just one set to Dave Strange in his singles matches. Don Griggs also dropped a game to Dave but was pushed to 11-9 in the fifth before overcoming Keith Potter. Henllan B secured the doubles in another five-set encounter. Chris Watkins won the ladies battle beating Bridget Prescott in three straight sets.
