Well, we had a fairly good turn out for week one of the tournament, injuries and drop-outs aside. After some adjustments to the draws the games were underway and some good TT was seen on the night. Please click on the images below to see how these two first draws panned out

On a serious note, the draw(s) for next week are currently being changed due to drop-outs and injuries. We ask that PLEASE could ALL able competitors turn out next Monday otherwise it will spoil it for others and create unnecessary last minute changes.

UPDATE:The late attendance and disappointing late withdrawal of 10 players (some unavoidable) resulted in another urgent readjustment of pairs and a very late finish (23:15), and neither event was actually completed last night !
Therefore, the remainder will be played to a conclusion on MONDAY 14th MAY @ Vauxhall Recreation Club

Congratulations to Dave Messetter who beat Dave Griggs in the Div. 2 Singles final! Unfortunately, we don't currently have a picture of the finalists, but do hope to obtain one...
The doubles finalists, pictured below, were Curtis King & Val Murdoch vs Biao Wang & Eleanor Neaves. Biao & Eleanor won in 3 straight, taking it 11-9, 11-4 and 11-3. Congratulations to Biao & Eleanor and well played all !!
