Patrick “Pat” Palmer was born in November 1935 in Woolwich and sadly passed away on the 3rd October, aged 86.

Pat initially had a long association with the Sturdee Club before becoming the Secretary of Rainham 83 in 2009.

Pat joined the Medway Committee in 1975 and was the Registration Secretary from 1978 until 1985.

He then had a second spell on the Committee from 1990 until 1994 serving as the Representative Match Secretary.

It would always be an interesting evening playing against Pat or, sometimes even in the same team!
