Sturdee 2 have now won both opening matches 8-2, this week  the victims were Anchs 4. Once again Mike Porter led the way with a hatrick only dropping a leg against Aubrey Maryott who later in the evening was to pick up his team's sole singles success when he had a hard earned 5 leg win against Ken George. Peter Stokes also recorded a hatrick for Sturdee but was pushed all the way by Dick Ellis winning 11-8 in the decider after losing legs 3 and 4. Anchs 2nd point came way of Maryott/Ellis Doubles success over Porter/Stokes.
