Howard 3 and John Kane are hitting a bit of form and this week inflicted a 7-3 win over current Div 1 leaders Sturdee 2. This was Kane's 3rd treble in as many weeks and supported by a Roger Morley brace on season debut, a singles success for Alex Clarke over the luckless Mehdi Golchehreh and a Kane/Clarke Doubles triumph, secured the unexpected win over the table toppers.  Mike Porter was denied a treble by Kane after going 2 legs up and Sturdee's other point was gained by Peter Stokes' win over Clarke in 5.
