Luton Inv 3 maintained their 100% record with a 4th consecutive victory and go top of Div 1 with a 8-2 victory over visitors Anchs 4. Phil Goldsmith and Ian Sayer had a fairly easy night with trebles and clubmate Mike Barber, who was playing up from the 4th's, added a single after an impressive comeback against Greg Sammy. He lost the first 2 legs 2-11 and 1-11 but must have just been checking Greg's style out as he came back strongly to take the last 3 for a good win. He, however lost out to Dick Ellis, who performed his own impressive comeback from 2 legs down. Jacques Domingue also beat Barber for Anchs 2nd point.
