A close contest at the Howard centre against Howard 4 and Anchs 4 saw the hosts come back from 2-4 down to take the match 6-4 with a last gasp Doubles victory. All players on show won at least once with Phil Marchant justifying his call up from Div 2 with a double which was enough to get him the Player of the Match award.
