Match Report
Howard 4 are currently having problems fielding a side and at one stage it looked like team regular David Scott was going to take on Boxley on his own. He managed to persuade in-form Andrew Marchant, who was playing in his own match at the Howard centre, to join him and this proved to be a good move. Marchant went through all 3 Boxley players with an impressive display of high energy attacking table tennis with only Gary Hentschel able to take a leg off him. Scott managed a single win over Lyndon Gurr and teamed up with Marchant to win the Doubles in 5 to earn Howard a draw which would have looked unlikely at the start of the evening.
