Rainham 3's recent revival in Div 1 continued with another vital 5 points away to Boxley 2. The home side had to rely on a great fightback in the Doubles to secure the draw. Jim Davie gave a real Captain's performance for Rainham with a fine treble and son Tim and Jaspal Plaha also beat Derek Myers but both lost out to Lyndon Gurr and Gary Hentschel. Rainham stay out of the drop zone after this result and move above Chatham Dorset.
