As last week, Cliffe Woods 3 recorded a narrow win over a side from the Chatham Table Tennis Club. This week's opponents were Cumberland who put up a good fight but were just on the wrong end of a 4-6 scoreline. Peter Mortley, fresh from last week's hatrick, produced a repeat performance and was well supported by a brace from Andy Larner. Andy was unlucky not to get a maximum just losing out to Phil Humphries who is having a good 2nd half to the season. Phil also beat Trevor Mortley as did Gareth Fox and the other Trevor on duty (Mr. Towers).
