Doubles from Captain Dick Ellis and Jacques Domingue gave Anchs 4 four important points when they visited Cliffe Woods in the penultimate week of the season. Greg Sammy couldn't get on the scoresheet, however, so Woods ran out 6-4 winners, their 17th of the season. Peter Mortley was the main difference between the sides as he recorded his 8th Player of the Match Award. Anchs are one of 4 sides who could be relegated with Luton 4 to Div 2 next season and it looks like they will have to beat Chatham Dorset next week as their other remaining game is against Parkwood.
