This was a funny game with no fewer than four players getting braces but no one being able to get three.  All of the Howard team (Tim Swain, Dan Bridges and brother Robbie) all got two, Tim losing to Malcolm Kay and Dan did the same.  After beating Malcolm Robbie lost to Lennon MacLorg who got Chatham's other point, but Jack Jordan lost all three.  Tim and Dan beat Malcolm and Lennon in four sets to win the doubles.
