Howard 5 consolidated their already strong position at the top of the table when they had this convincing win over one of their nearest challengers.  Andrew Marchant won his three and was well backed up by Phil Marchant and Lewis Browning who both won two.  For Anchorians Garry Kimber and John Barker suffered rare blanks and it was left to Michael Barker to beat Phil Marchant and Lewis Browning plus a very hard-fought five set doubles win 16-14 in the final leg to give Anchorians their 3 points.
