HOWARD  6  5  CHATHAM FURIOUS  5

After seven games this match seemed to be going Howards way with them leading 5-2 with Malcolm Newborough and Dan Bridges both having won 2 and Tim Swain 1.  However Furious were not finished and with Lennon McLorg recording a five-set win over Dan and Malcolm Kay spoiling Malcolm N's perfect night it was left to Malcolm and Lennon to win the doubles in four and force a draw.  Liam Coake for Furious, despite winning two opening sets couldn't get a win.  Howard are 8th with Furious 11th.
