Sturdee 1 were   7, 3 victors  over Chatham Belfast with both Wayne Matthews and Tim Vaughan registering maximums. The big surprise was Wayne Youngs losing  all his matches!.  Samuel Berhan in his first season for Chatham produced a brilliant fourth leg win, despite losing the first 11,4.  Captain Segun Ake also won in four legs, even though he lost one 11.2!  Harry Jones won the first leg over Tim Vaughan but couldn't sustain it and went down in four legs. He did have the consolation of defeating Wayne Youngs, three straight
