Luton 2 suffered a huge setback in their race for the title losing to fellow champion hopefulls, Howard 1, 8,2. Howard put out a strong team and they were indebted to Graham French, who picked up a maximum. Scottish wonderkid and new Czech citizen  Ian Gordon! posted a brace, losing to  Martin Beefy Ball. New signing Simon Forest was halted from his treble by Miro 13,11 in the fifth.  Howard are now just a point behind both Luton teams after this impressive victory
